Tony King's Buried Treasure
"Tony King's Buried Treasure" started on Auckland LPFM station Howick Village Radio back in July 2008.
The station became known East FM a few years later.
It's about lost material that no longer gets played on radio or never was in the first place.
It features a few album tracks, B sides and lesser known hits and near misses by mostly well known artists but a few artists
who missed out as well. A hotchpotch and with relevant info about their background and/or chart success or lack of it.
Some may have had a lot of airplay on radio in their day but somehow been forgotten.
It is not restricted by genres or eras so just as likely to have Luciano Pavarotti, Led Zeppelin, Benny Hill,
Take That and Louis Armstrong on the same programme.
