Taupo’s 107.5 Kis FM took it’s first breath at 6am the 8th of December 2021 and has been growing from there.
Reviving an iconic name in radio in Taupo, we play a classic rock/classic hits format.
Kis FM is filling a huge hole in the market by playing the music you never stopped listening too.
Aimed at the influential 30+ age group, Kis FM has a potential audience of 25,000+ in the Taupo region,
and one big advantage we have over the corporates is that we are live and local, able to jump on air at a moments notice.
Our transmission site looks down over Taupo, giving Kis FM, a Low Powered FM station great coverage.

HUTT RADIO : LOWER HUTT
Broadcasting since 2011, Hutt Radio serves Lower Hutt City and its suburbs; an area with a population of around 114,000.
As a community station, it aims to attract a broad audience across all demographics, offering everything from children’s programmes
to those focused on different music genres and specific topics.
Access to the airwaves is free for any non-profit organisation – whether that’s making their own programme(s),
a regular community notice, an interview or a broadcast from an event.
Broadcasting on 88.3FM, and streaming online through huttradio.co.nz and on smart devices via the iHeart Radio app.

RADIO TE AROHA : TE AROHA
Radio Te Aroha 88FM was established in 2020 and is owned and operated by the Te Aroha Dramatic Society which in turn,
owns and operates the Te Aroha Little Theatre in Honi St, Te Aroha. The Society is both an incorporated society
and a registered charity and has been established in Te Aroha for over 70 years.
The station is run by volunteers to primarily provide free advertising for community groups, not-for-profits, charities, clubs,
schools, churches and their events as well as promoting Te Aroha as a great tourist attraction.
The station airs the NZ Retro Weekly Top 40 at 10am every Saturday morning.
Station Manager John Watson also produces and hosts a free, weekly, 1 hour show called "New Music Aotearoa"
that currently gets sent out to 18 stations across NZ, Australia, the UK, the USA and Canada. It's also on 15 podcast platforms.
It features new, NZ music by NZ artists with tracks that don't tend to get airplay on mainstream stations.
The music is sent to via NZ On-Air and NicNak Media.

SMALL FM : HASTINGS & NAPIER
Small FM (Formally Magic FM) operating in Napier as an LPFM (Low Power FM) Radio Station,
and for the last 30 years and has been listed as the first and longest running LPFM Radio Station in New Zealand.
Back in 1995 we bought parts from the UK and built this Radio Station as a hobby, local and non profit,
and playing commercial free music from the 30’s to the 90’s.
Our Transmitters are located on 106.7 FM in Taradale – 88.1 FM in Onekawa,
but however we are limited on output power to only 1watt (1000mW) ERP (per transmitter)
so we’re very small but with a big heart for local and NZ Music.
You see us too “like the big Radio Stations” have to pay for song royalties to APRA and PPNZ
and like others keep the upmost standards which support the codes of good broadcasting
which is laid down by the BSA (The Broadcasting Standards Authority),
and of cause power to keep us on air, this is funded by me as a hobby.
